Lake Burton · Rabun County, Georgia

Homes built for the water, and the families who wait for them.

For more than twenty years, Clay Contracting has built custom lake homes on Lake Burton: stone chimneys, timber beams, and walls of glass that open to the water.

We build a handful of homes at a time, on the water, by hand, with the same crew from the first footing to the final walkthrough.

Most of our clients live somewhere else while their home goes up. That is why every Clay build now comes with a private window: progress photos, selections and change orders you approve with a click, and a draw schedule you can see, so being three hours away feels like being on site.
